HRH The Crown Prince to pay a visit in Israel

HRH The Crown Prince visits Israel on 30 October to participate in a memorial ceremony on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the rescue of the Danish Jews in Denmark in October 1943. The Danish rescue 70 years ago sent more than 7000 Jews to safety in Sweden.

During the visit, The Crown Prince will be accompanied by the Danish education minister and will be received by Israel’s president, Shimon Peres. As a part of the commemoration, The Crown Prince will visit the Yad Vashem memorial to the Holocaust and will be at a memorial concert with Jerusalem’s symphony orchestra arranged by the organizations “Danmarks Venner i Israel” (“Denmark’s Friends in Israel”) and “Danskere i Israel” (“The Danes in Israel”).
