His Royal Highness The Crown Prince underwent an operation for a herniated disc at Rigshospitalet yesterday.

The operation went as planned. The Crown Prince is doing well under the circumstances and was discharged this morning.

Physical rehabilitation is in store for some time to come, and therefore it’s expected that The Crown Prince’s official activities will be cancelled over the next few weeks.
