On 20 February 2019, it will be one year since Prince Henrik’s funeral service at Christiansborg Palace Church. For this occasion, Her Majesty The Queen has decided to invite the royal family, a number of The Prince’s close friends, representatives from the Royal Danish House and others to a memorial concert in Fredensborg Palace Church.   

There, the Royal Danish Academy of Music will be in charge of a music program that reflects Prince Henrik’s lifelong interest in music. After the concert, The Queen will hold a gathering in the Dome Hall at Fredensborg Palace.

It will be possible for the media to cover the arrival of the royal family and the guests at Fredensborg Palace. Members of the media who desire accreditation are asked to send an e-mail including name, media affiliation and title to the Royal Danish House’s communications department at kom@kongehuset.dk by 10.00 on Monday, 18 February at the latest. Accredited members of the media will receive a direct message the same day. The meeting time for the media is 17.30 at the Blue Gate, Fredensborg Palace. You will be required to present your press card.
