The following are the guidelines for the media in connection with the holding of HM The Queen’s New Year’s address on 31 December 2015 and The Queen and The Prince Consort’s New Year’s banquet and New Year’s levees on 1, 5 and 6 January 2016.
 

The New Year’s address will be held Thursday, 31 december 2015 at 18.00 at Fredensborg Palace. 

Pool (few slots): Photo op following the New Year’s address. 

Meeting time: 17.30 at the Blue Gate, Fredensborg Palace.

A request for accreditation including name, position, CPR number, media affiliation and contact information must be sent to kom@kongehuset.dk by 12.00 on Tuesday, 29 December at the latest. 
Accredited members of the media will receive a direct message by 12.00 on Wednesday, 30 December at the latest. You must bring your press card. 

The address will be broadcast without being made publicly available beforehand, but it will be available on the Royal Danish House’s website www.kongehuset.dk/en immediately after it is delivered.

The Queen and the prince consort hold new year’s levee and banquet on friday, 1 january 2016 at 19.00 at christian VII’s palace, AMALIENBORG. 

The guests arrive from 18.10.

Participants: The Queen and The Prince Consort and specially invited guests. 
TRH The Crown Prince and The Crown Princess, TRH Prince Joachim and Princess Marie and HH Princess Elisabeth will be present.

There will be three press pools, which must be applied for beforehand. It is not possible to move among the three positions.

Pool 1: On the palace square by the entry to the Entrance Hall, where the guests arrive 18.15–18.45 and the royal family arrives during the time period 18.50–18.55.
 
Pool 2 (1 still photographer + 1 TV host camera): In the Entrance Hall, where the guests and the royal family arrive and the Royal Life Guard is inspected.

Pool 3 (10 slots): By the Main Stairs, where the guests pass by during the time period 18.15–18.45.

Meeting time for pools 1-3: 17.30 at the Main Gate, where there will be a security sweep by PET.

A request for accreditation with specific pool request, name, position, CPR number, media affiliation and contact information must be sent to kom@kongehuset.dk by Tuesday, 29 December at the latest. 
Accredited members of the media will receive a direct message by 16.00 on Wednesday, 30 December at the latest.
You must bring your press card.  Members of the media who are not accredited will not have pool access. 

The guest list will be posted on the Royal Danish House’s website on 1 January at 18.00, and the menu will be posted at 19.00.

the queen and the prince consort hold new year’s levee tuesday, 5 january 2016 at 09.50 at CHRISTIAN VII’S PALace, AMALIENBORG.

The guests arrive from 09.30.

Participants: The Supreme Court’s justices and the officer corps of The Royal Life Guard and The Guard Hussar Regiment. 
The Crown Prince Couple will be present.

The media can stand in an assigned area at the Main Gate. 

Meeting time: 09.15 at the Main Gate.

A request for accreditation with name, position, CPR number, media affiliation and contact information must be sent to kom@kongehuset.dk by Friday, 1 January at the latest. 
Accredited members of the media will receive a direct message on Monday, 4 January at 12.00. You must bring your press card. 
 

the queen and the prince consort hold a new year’s levee for the diplomatic corps tuesday, 5 january 2016 at 11.30 at CHRISTIANSBORG palace.

The guests arrive from 10.50.

Participants: The present diplomatic corps’ chiefs of mission and their spouses as well as side-accredited ambassadors and their spouses.
The Crown Prince Couple will be present.

There will be two press pools. Members of the media with access to both pools will be escorted from pool 1 to pool 2.

Pool 1 (40 slots): Hall of the Halberdiers, where the royal family members and the guests arrive during the time period 10.50–11.30. 

Pool 2 (20 slots): The balcony in the Great Hall, where photographing is allowed during presentation of the diplomats. Afterwards, the journalists and photographers leave Christiansborg Palace, approx. 12.00.  

Meeting time: 10.00 at the Queen’s Gate, Prince Jørgen’s Courtyard, where there will be a security sweep by PET.

the queen and the prince consort hold new year’s levee wednesday, 6 JANUARy 2016 from 09.00 at Christiansborg palace.
 

The guests arrive during the period 09.00–12.30. 

Participants: Officers from the Defence and the Danish Emergency Management Agency, the I., II. and III. ranking classes, and invited representatives of larger national organizations and royal patronages.
The Crown Prince Couple will be present.

Pool 1 (Hall of the Halberdiers): During the arrivals of the royal family members and the guests, 09.00–10.30. 

Pool 2 (The Queen’s Stairs): During the arrivals of the national organizations and the patronages, 11.30–12.30.

There are no additional opportunities for photographing inside the palace.

Meeting time: 08.15 at the Queen’s Gate, where there will be a security sweep by PET. 

A request for accreditation with name, position, CPR number, media affiliation and contact information must be sent to kom@kongehuset.dk by Monday, 4 January at the latest. 
Accredited members of the media will receive a direct message on Tuesday, 5 January at 12.00.
You must bring your press card. Members of the media who are not accredited will not have access to the Hall of the Halberdiers.

Coach ride  

The Queen and The Prince Consort, escorted by the Guard Hussar Regiment’s Horse-mounted Squadron, ride in the Gold Coach on 6 January at 09.00 from Amalienborg to Christiansborg Palace and at 13.30 from Christiansborg Palace to Amalienborg.
