Accreditation: The Queen and The Prince Consort visit Greenland
Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Prince Consort pay an official visit in Greenland the days of 9-23 July 2015 aboard the Royal Yacht Dannebrog.
The cruise includes visits in North and West Greenland.
The tour begins in North Greenland with visits at Illoqqortoormiut and Station Nord as well as visits in the settlement of Savissivik. In West Greenland, visits in Upernavik, Ukkusissat, Qullissat, Saqqaq, Ilulissat, Qasigiannguit, Kitsissuarsuit, Sisimiut, Kangaamiut, Maniitsoq and Nuuk will be paid.

Members of the press who want to cover The Queen and The Prince Consort’s visit in West Greenland 12-22 July must send a request for accreditation with name, position, media affiliation, CPR number and contact information to the Government of Greenland’s communications department at the e-mail address
paok@nanoq.gl by 12.00 on Tuesday, 12 May 2015 at the latest. It will not be possible to cover the visit in North Greenland.
The royal yacht will be escorted by a patrol ship, which will have a limited number of places for the press. The places will be allotted by the Royal Danish House after the registration deadline, and applicants will receive a direct message by Monday, 18 May 2015 at the latest. Members of the press assigned places on the patrol ship will be obligated to make gathered material available to other media under the customary prevailing terms.
Any request for space on the patrol ship must be stated in the e-mail about accreditation.

AIR TRAVEL
In connection with HM The Queen and HRH The Prince Consort’s visit in Greenland, there will be no arranged press travel: airplanes, hotels, etc. However, due to the limited flights to Upernavik, there will be pre-reserved airplane seating on 10 July, 2015 for the travelling members of the press who are assigned places on the patrol ship.
