Autism-Europe Congress in Budapest

HRH Princess Marie, in her role as the patron of Autism Denmark, participates in the Autism-Europe Congress in Budapest, Hungary on Thursday, 26 September and gives the opening speech.

10th Autism-Europe Congress is held in Budapest with the theme “New Dimensions in Autism" and will deal with the latest developments in the areas of technological aids, communication, aging and best practices.
 
Princess Marie gives the opening speech at the official opening ceremony at 11.00 and will, during the congress, get the opportunity to speak with international researchers and other prominent specialists within the field of autism. In addition, The Princess will meet with the president of Autism-Europe during the visit and be introduced to the organization’s work.

 

Autism-Europe Congresses are held every 3 years by Autism-Europe, which is an umbrella organization for approximately 80 European autism associations. The organization’s purpose is to disseminate new knowledge about, among other things, research, practical tools, teaching methods, and technology in the autism area.
