High-level meeting about global inequality

HRH The Crown Princess will attend an international high-level meeting about global inequality on Tuesday, 19 February 2013.

Development minister Christian Friis Bach and Ghana’s national development and planning commission chairman Paul Victor Obeng, in co-operation with UNICEF chief Anthony Lake and UN Women chief Michelle Bachelet, are co-hosting a high-level meeting on inequality in Copenhagen on 19 February 2013.
The conference is part of a series of global consultations the UN is holding in the process of formulating the development goals that will replace the eight 2015 objectives. The high-level meeting will bring together decision-makers and ministers from a number of countries and leaders of UN and civil society organizations for a discussion of what the international community ought to do about global inequality.

On the occasion of the high-level meeting, The Crown Princess will participate tomorrow evening in a welcoming ceremony, at which The Crown Princess will speak. The next day, 19 February, The Crown Princess attends the high-level meeting.
The meeting takes place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eigtveds Pakhus, Copenhagen C.
