HRH The Crown Prince presides over the inauguration of the BioPro project at Novo Nordisk, Kalundborg on 1 February at 10.00. 

BioPro is a competence centre of knowledge and innovation about full-scale biotech production for companies and universities. In the competence centre, biotech producers and researchers will develop solutions to create more sustainable production and increase the competitiveness of companies.

The Crown Prince presides over the official inauguration of the competence centre. At the opening, there will be comments by business and growth minister Annette Vilhelmsen and by representatives of the industrial partners and the universities.

After the opening, the Crown Prince and the business and growth minister will visit Novo Nordisk’s insulin factory.

BioPro is a collaborative effort between the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen as well as the companies CP Kelco, Novo Nordisk, Novozymes, Dong Energy and CAT.
