The Royal Danish Arsenal Museum inaugurates a new continuing exhibition, "Denmark’s Wars", which tells about 21 wars from the year 1500 until today.
The exhibition is designed as a 160 metre long "gun barrel" of showcases viewers can go in and out of, displaying examples from 500 years of war history. "Denmark’s Wars" is flanked by a selection of the museum’s other collections – from hunting weapons to aircraft models to samurai armour.
The Queen presides over the opening of the exhibition in Christian IV’s old arsenal, and there will be remarks by museum director and project leader Anton Pihl and acting museum director Jens Carl Kirchmeier-Andersen.
Afterwards, The Queen will inspect the exhibition and take part in an opening reception
