Ceremony with the Mayor of Mexico City

The Crown Prince Couple take part in the ceremony "Key to the city" with the Mayor of Mexico City Miguel Ángel Mancera. During the ceremony, the Crown Prince Couple are handed the key to the city. The ritual can be traced to the medieval times, where walls and locked gates fenced in cities. By handing over the key to the city, free entry to the city is symbolically given to the guests. The Crown Prince makes a speech at the ceremony.

Charity concert with the Raveonettes

The Crown Prince Couple attend a charity concert with the Danish band the Raveonettes. The concert takes place at El Plaza Condesa in Mexico City and funds from ticket sales are donated to the Diarq Foundation, which The Crown Prince Couple will visit on Wednesday 13 November.

Tuesday, 12 November

Business seminars

The Crown Prince Couple visit the business seminars "Food ingredients and optimization seminar", "Healthcare sector seminar", and "Agroindustry and food technology seminar" at St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City. The Crown Prince Couple are introduced to a display with products from 15 Danish companies who take part in the business seminars.

Chamber of Deputies

The Crown Prince Couple visit the Chamber of Deputies and witness the closing of a forum about ostomy complications and observe the establishment of the Congress' friendship group with Denmark. Furthermore, The Crown Prince Couple are introduced to an exhibition portraying the consequences of ostomy complications.

Inauguration of bicycle counter

The Crown Prince Couple take part in the inaguration of the first bicycle counter of its kind in Mexico. During the inaguration the Crown Prince Couple will give the starting signal to cyclists from the Mexican cyclist association who will pass by the bicycle counter.

Launch of exhibition on Danish Contemporary Architecture

Gala dinner

The gala dinner takes place in the restored convent ex Convento de San Hipólito and courses inspired by the Danish-Mexican meeting are served. Visit at Sigma Alimentos Factory

The Crown Prince visits Sigma Alimentos Factory in Tula, which one of the municipalities in Hidalgo. The factory produces and distributes refrigerated and frozen food. During the visit the present Danish companies will showcase examples of Danish food technology.

Pemex

The Crown Prince visits the state-owned oil company Pemex in Mexico City and takes part in a meeting with representatives from Pemex and the present Danish companies.

Renewable Energy Meeting

The Crown Prince attends a meeting with representatives from the Danish business delegation, the Federal Electricity Commission and decision makers. The meeting takes place in MUTEC - Technological Museum of the Federal Electricity Commission in Mexico City.
