The Lord Chamberlain resigns

Lord Chamberlain, chamberlain, ambassador Ove Ullerup will step down from his position as Lord Chamberlain as of 1 September 2014.
In 2003, Ambassador Ove Ullerup took a leave of absence from a position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take over as Lord Chamberlain in the Royal House and has, after 11 years in the position, decided to return to the Foreign Ministry to an ambassadorial post.
Her Majesty The Queen expresses her appreciation for Ove Ullerup’s conduct of his duties as Lord Chamberlain.
The name of the succeeding Lord Chamberlain will be announced later.
