HM The Queen’s birthday
The Queen’s birthday on Sunday, 16 April 2017 will be marked at Marselisborg Palace in the following manner:
The public has access to the Palace Garden in front of and east of the palace, in accordance with instructions.
The Band of the Royal Life Guards and the guards coming on duty march from the Guard quarters to the watch.
The changing of the guard takes place. After the changing of the guard, the Band of the Royal Life Guards marches while performing music in front of the palace.
Afterwards, The Queen and members of the royal family present come out on the veranda.
In connection with The Queen’s birthday on Sunday, 16 April, registers in which the public can offer congratulations will be placed at the gate of Det Gule Palæ, Amaliegade 18, Copenhagen, from 10.00-14.00.
Due to the residence at Marselisborg Palace, there will not be a birthday parade on Amalienborg Palace Square.
