Through the years in the Royal Danish House, concerts have been held at Fredensborg Palace, where various groups of the society have been invited. This took place most recently in 2017, when the importance of the environmental and food product sectors was in focus.

This year, it will be the royal family, a number of Prince Henrik’s close friends, representatives from the Royal Danish House and others who are invited to a memorial concert in Fredensborg Palace Church in connection with the anniversary of Prince Henrik’s funeral. There, the Royal Danish Academy of Music will be in charge of a music program that reflects Prince Henrik’s lifelong interest in music. After the concert, The Queen holds a gathering in the Dome Hall at Fredensborg Palace.
