Opening of Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership

The Crown Prince Couple take part in the opening of the new research-focused Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership on 23 May 2018 at Aarhus BSS at Aarhus University.

On 23 May, the Crown Prince Couple take part in the opening of a new research center at Aarhus University named the Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership. HRH The Crown Prince presides over the opening of the center, which will be an international powerhouse for generating research-based knowledge about public leadership. The Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership is an interdisciplinary research center in the Department of Political Science. 

The Crown Prince studied political science at Aarhus University and earned a Master’s degree in political science in 1995.

At the day’s opening of the Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership, The Crown Prince will give a speech and afterwards officially open the new center located in Aarhus University’s original main building, which is the oldest building on the present-day campus. The building’s first stone was laid in 1932 by The Crown Prince’s great-grandfather, King Christian X. From now on, The Crown Prince will be a member of the center’s Governance Committee, which will work to ensure the center’s international standing.
