The Crown Prince Couple visit Washington D.C. and Boston to lead a business promotional campaign focused on food products, clean tech, health solutions and the maritime trade.

The Crown Prince Couple participate in a reception for the business delegation and specially invited representatives from the arts, cultural and diplomatic worlds in Washington D.C. Denmark’s ambassador in Washington is the host.
During the reception, a new exhibition "Arts in Embassy" also opens in the ambassador’s residence with modern Danish art, which is sponsored by the embassy, the Danish Arts Foundation and the Ministry of Culture. In addition, HRH The Crown Prince will present HRH Prince Henrik’s Medal of Honour.

CSG consists of maritime administrations from 18 countries including Denmark, which currently chairs the organization. CSG works for better conditions as well as free and fair competition in the maritime industry and thus deals with issues such as environmental regulations, climate change and free trade.

During the visit, the Crown Prince Couple will be shown around the Inpatient Ward and Women’s Health Clinic. The Veterans Health Administration is the largest integrated health systems in the USA and treats nearly 9 million veterans each year. The branch in Washington treats more than 98,000 veterans annually.
