HRH Prince Joachim today presented the Confederation of Danish Industry’s Initiative Prize to Universal Robots A/S at CDI’s Conference for Small and Medium-Sized Companies.
CDI’s Initiative Prize is handed out one time a year to a small or medium-sized company that has created a foundation for growth through initiative and exceptional industriousness.
This year, 18 winners of CDI’s regional initiative prizes competed for the big Initiative Prize, which Prince Joachim presented to the Funen-based company Universal Robots A/S. It was nominated as the regional prizewinner in CDI Funen.
“Universal Robots is a really good example of a company that has made the most of an idea fostered in the university world. And the company continues to benefit from the close co-operation with the local university,” said Prince Joachim in his speech in connection with the award presentation.
Prince Joachim presented the Initiative Prize at CDI's Conference for Small and Medium-Sized Companies, which took place at Tivoli Hotel and Congress Center, Copenhagen.
