Hospital+Innovation Congress

HRH The Crown Princess participates in the opening of Hospital+Innovation Congress, which focuses on health care innovation, hospital construction and patient care technology.

The Crown Princess, in her role as the patron of Healthcare DENMARK, participates in the opening of the “Hospital+Innovation Congress” together with Minister for Health Astrid Kragh and Region of Southern Denmark’s council chairman, Carl Holst.

The conference’s purpose is, among other things, to provide an opportunity for collaboration between interests from the public and private sectors with a view towards creating innovative and sustainable health care solutions. The conference takes place in Odense from 30 September to 1 October and was arranged at the initiative of the Region of Southern Denmark.

The conference’s four work themes cover flexible hospital construction, reducing adverse events, telemedicine and psychiatric facility construction. In addition to interests from the Danish health care sector, a number of international health care actors will participate at the conference. The official opening takes place on the conference’s first day at 09.30.

In September 2013, The Crown Princess became the patron of Healthcare DENMARK, which functions as an international showcase for the Danish health care sector and Danish health care companies.
