The Crown Prince Couple pays an official visit to South Korea from 10 – 15 May 2012

From 10 – 15 May 2012 His Royal Highness The Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess will pay an official visit to South Korea. During the visit The Crown Prince Couple will be accompanied by a trade delegation which will aim at strengthening the bilateral relations between Denmark and South Korea with a strong focus on cultural and trade related activities. 

The Crown Prince Couple will commence the visit by participating in the official opening of the world exhibition EXPO 2012 in the city of Yeosu, in which Denmark will be represented with an exhibition in the Danish pavilion. The Crown Prince Couple’s visit will furthermore have a green growth focus, and a follow-up of the Danish-Korean Green Growth Alliance, which was established during President Lee Myung-bak’s state visit to Denmark in May 2011, will be carried out. The cultural activities in the program will particularly revolve around Danish design and dance, which are two collaborative areas between Denmark and South Korea.
