HM Queen Anne-Marie

Anne-Marie Dagmar Ingrid, Her Majesty Queen, was born on 30 August 1946 at Amalienborg Palace as the daughter of King Frederik IX (d.1972) and Queen Ingrid, born Princess of Sweden (d. 2000).

Wedding

In Athens on 18 September 1964, Princess Anne-Marie married His Majesty King Konstantin II of Greece, King of the Hellenes in the period 1964-1974, born on 2 June 1940 in Psychiko, Greece as the son of Pavlos I of Greece (1901-1964), King of the Hellenes, and Frederika of Greece (1917-1981), Queen of the Hellenes, born Princess of Hanover, Princess of Great Britain and Ireland and Duchess of Braunschweig-Lüneburg.

Children and grandchildren

Alexia, Princess of Greece and Denmark, born on 10 July 1965 at Mon Repos, Korfu, Greece. In London in July 1999, Princess Alexia married Carlos Morales Quintana, who was born on 30 December 1970 on Lanzarote, Spain. The couple have three children, Arrietta Morales de Grecia, born in Barcelona on 24 February 2002, Anne-Marie Morales de Grecia, born in Barcelona on 15 May 2003 and Carlos de Grecia, born in Barcelona on 30 July 2005.

Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, Prince of Denmark, born on 20 May 1967 at the Tatoi Palace near Athens, Greece. In London in 1995, the Crown Prince married Marie-Chantal Miller, now Crown Princess Pavlos. The Crown Princess was born on 17 September 1968 in London. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess have four children: Maria-Olympia, Princess of Greece and Denmark, born on 25 July 1996 in New York; Konstantin-Alexios, Prince of Greece and Denmark, born on 29 October 1998 in New York and Achileas Andrea, Prince of Greece and Denmark, born on 12 August 2000 in New York. Odysseas Kimon, Prince of Greece and Denmark, born on 17 September 2004 in London.

Nikolaos, Prince of Greece and Denmark, born in Rome on 1 October 1969.

Theodora, Princess of Greece and Denmark, born in London on 9 June 1983.
