Organisation
The Court is traditionally the term used for the Royal Family’s administration and household. The members of the Royal House have their own minor administration, called a Royal Household. The largest Royal Household today is HM The Queen’s Royal Household, called the Royal Civil List. The administrative part of the Royal Household is called the Lord Chamberlain’s Office, which is situated in Amaliegade at Det Gule Palæ. From this address, the members of staff plan and administer state visits, gala dinners as well as many of the royal foundations and finances.
