HE Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie Countess of Monpezat, is the daughter of TRH Prince Joachim and Princess Marie.

Countess Athena was born Princess of Denmark on 24 January 2012 at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, and is included in the order of succession to the Throne.
Christened
Countess Athena was christened in Møgeltønder Church on 20 May 2012.
Residence
Countess Athena lives with her family in Washington.
Schooling
Countess Athena began school at The Sisters of St. Joseph School in Ordrup on 11 August 2017. Countess Athena then went to school in Paris while the family lived in France.
In connection with the family’s move to Washington, Countess Athena now goes to school in the American capital.
