France’s president comes on state visit in Denmark
At the invitation of Her Majesty The Queen, France’s president, HE Emmanuel Macron, will come on a state visit in Denmark the days of 28-29 August 2018.
The visit in August will be the second state visit from France since The Queen assumed the throne in 1972. The first took place in 1982, when then-president François Mitterrand visited Denmark.
Four years previously, The Queen and Prince Henrik went on a state visit to France, namely in 1978, when president Valéry Giscard d'Estaing hosted the visit.
