Press release: Prince Henrik’s final wishes fulfilled
As the Royal Danish House announced in connection with Prince Henrik’s death and cremation in February of this year, The Prince wanted to have the ashes distributed in two places.
One portion of the ashes was to be placed in an urn in the private garden at Fredensborg Palace. The other portion was to be spread in Danish waters. The Prince’s wishes are now fulfilled, and the royal family was gathered at both occasions.
