HM The Queen, the Royal Family, Nordic Heads of State and other invited guests attended a command performance at The Royal Danish Theatre on 10 September 2022 in connection with the 50th Jubilee of Her Majesty’s Accession to the Throne. The command performance consisted of extracts from various performances and was broadcast live on DR.

The Queen and the Royal Family entered the theatre hall, after which the first verse of the Royal Anthem was played before theatre director Kasper Holten welcomed those attending.

To honour Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty had decided that a minute's silence would be held before the command performance on the Royal Theatre started.

During the pause between the 1st and 2nd halves, The Queen and the Royal Family circulated and greeted guests on the balcony level.
