HM The King's visit in Poland - day 2
The day’s first visit focused on energy optimisation when The King, together with Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard, stopped by the metro station Stadion Narodowy.
Here, the technology and the idea behind a project that can potentially collect and reuse the metro’s excess heat by sending it into the city’s district heating system was presented.

During the visit, a statement of intent between Warsaw’s Metro, a number of Danish companies and The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark was signed.

Afterwards The King, together with Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, Michal Olszewski.

The King visited Warsaw Agricultural University together with Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Jacob Jensen. The university hosted a conference which, among other things, focuses on possibilities for a more effective and climate-friendly approach to farming, livestock production and biogas production.
During the visit, a statement of intent between Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the Danish company GreenFarm was signed.

The visit at Warsaw Agricultural University continued with a tour around the university. Here, The King and Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Jacob Jensen was, among other things, introduced to Danish companies specialising in biogas and farming that took part in the conference.

The day’s last visit in Warsaw focuses on energy efficiency. The King, together with Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard and Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Jacob Jensen, was introduced to the Danish companies that have specialised in energy optimisation.
The visit concluded with a joint Decarbonisation Declaration Ceremony.

After The King was greeted at Szczecin-Goleniów Airport by the government’s representative (Wojewoda) in West Pomerania, the Szczecin Corps’ military protocol and the Danish consul-general in Szczecin, His Majesty participated in Grand Business Reception at Szczecin Philharmonic Hall.
The King gave the welcoming speech.
