HM The King's visit in Poland - day 3
The visit's last day began with the opening of Vestas new production facility, where The King and Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard participated.
The new factory, which will produce blades for offshore wind turbines, is expected to be ready for use in 2026 and create more than 1,000 jobs in the area in the long term.

Afterwards The King participated in the opening of the conference “Wind, Waves and Wires”.
The objective of the conference was to create opportunities so that Danish companies can offer their technological solutions in the area of wind energy. In the presence of The King, an MoU between the ports of Szczecin and Esbjerg was signed.

Before the visit at NATO’s corps headquarters The King took part in a courtesy visit with the Mayor of Szczecin, Piotr Tomasz Krzystek, as well as the Marshal of West Pomerania, Olgierd Geblewicz, and the Governor of West Pomerania, Adam Stanisław Rudawski.

The King visited NATO’s regional corps headquarters in Szczecin. During the visit, The King received a briefing about the current duties of the headquarters, and His Majesty also met a number of the Danish personnel at the headquarters and their families.
