The King and The Queen of Spain held a reciprocal arrangement at the Glyptotek with the participation of The Queen, the Crown Prince Couple and Princess Benedikte.

The King and Queen of Spain arrived first and were received by Spain’s Ambassador to Denmark, María Victoria González Román. Afterwards, HRH Princess Benedikte, the Crown Prince Couple and HM The Queen arrived.
In connection with the arrival, The King and Queen received the royal family in the Glyptotek, where Glyptotek director Gertrud Hvidberg-Hansen and Christine Buhl Andersen, chairperson of the museum’s board, were also present.

Prior to the dinner, there was a tour of the exhibition “Joaquín Sorolla – Light in Motion”.

Before the dinner, The King and Queen of Spain, The Queen, the Crown Prince Couple and Princess Benedikte greeted the guests in the Lion Hall.
Minister for Culture Jakob Engel-Schmidt also took part in the arrangement.

After the presentation, The King welcomed guests in the Central Hall, after which dinner was served.
