On the weekend of 10-11 September, the 50th Jubilee of HM The Queen’s Accession to the Throne will be marked by a number of events:
Saturday, 10 September
- Changing of the guard at Amalienborg, where the royal family will appear on the balcony
- The Queen rides by coach to Copenhagen City Hall
- Official reception and luncheon at Copenhagen City Hall
- Command performance on The Royal Danish Theatre’s Old Stage
Sunday, 11 September
- Celebratory church service in Church of Our Lady – Copenhagen Cathedral
- Luncheon on the Royal Yacht Dannebrog
- Gala banquet at Christiansborg Palace
