On Thursday, 18 May 2023, His Excellency Count Henrik will be confirmed in Frederikskirken – The Danish Church in Paris. The confirmation takes at 11:00 and will be administered by the royal Chaplain-in-Ordinary, bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen, who will be assisted by Frederikskirken’s minister, Malene Bendtsen.

The actual ceremony in the church will be private, but the news media will have the opportunity to photograph the confirmand, family and guests upon arrival at Frederikskirken – The Danish Church in Paris. After the confirmation, the confirmand and the immediate family will pose for photographs in Frederikskirken’s garden.

The meeting time for the media is 10:15 by the entrance to Frederikskirken.

An application for accreditation including name, media affiliation and title must be sent to the Communications Department via email address kom@kongehuset.dk no later than 12:00, Tuesday 16 May. Media passes must be presented on the day of the confirmation.
