Queen Louise of Sweden-Norway’s engagement bracelet is a part of the jewellery in The Danish Royal Property Trust.
Share
The chain bracelet of gold with flat, round links which interlock like small waves was an engagement gift from 1850 from Karl XV of Sweden to his wife, Queen Louise. The bracelet can be hooked together with an oval pendant holding a large diamond and two slightly smaller diamonds encircled by three diamond-studded rings. The pendant can also be worn as a brooch.
The bracelet was inherited from Queen Louise of Sweden by her only daughter, Queen Lovisa of Denmark, who conveyed the jewellery piece to The Danish Royal Property Trust in 1910.
