On Saturday, 30 April 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella will be confirmed in Fredensborg Palace Church. The confirmation will take place at 12:00 and will be officiated by the royal Chaplain-in-Ordinary, bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen.

The actual ceremony in the church is private, but the news media will have the opportunity to photograph the confirmand with the immediate family upon arrival. This will take place at the front steps in the Inner Palace Yard. After the confirmation, Princess Isabella and the immediate family will pose for photographing in front of the palace’s garden steps. Official photographs will be released later in the day.

It is possible for members of the news media to apply for accreditation for the two media availabilities mentioned above. Registration including name, title and media outlet must be sent to the communications department via e-mail address kom@kongehuset.dk no later than 12:00 on Thursday, 28 April. Accredited members of the media will receive a direct message no later than 14:00 on Friday, 29 April.

The meeting time will be 11:00 by the wrought-iron gate, Outer Palace Yard, Fredensborg Palace. News media ID must be brought and presented that day.
